This is a great tune by artist William Sedona from Germany that I recorded a couple years ago. The song was finally released this past fall and I had to do a video to feature my drum part! This is my favorite track from Pages second self titled album, released in 1981, featuring the great Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. His drum part fits perfectly with the arrangement and has been a great study for me in regards to playing fills that compliment the rhythmic figures throughout. I love the linear phrases that he plays during the ride out and they were a fun challenge to figure out. Enjoy! I had a lot of fun coming up with the drum part for this single recently released by my good friend Kat Tracey. To me it felt like a pop punk meets 80s rock vibe, so I tried to get some bigger sounds with this recording custom kit, while also getting a lower dead snare sound which was on the original demo I was sent.
